Applied Nutrition has signed a deal with Superdrug, launching two of its best-selling product lines, available in-store and online now.

As part of the new listing, Superdrug is now stocking Applied Nutrition’s Diet Protein Powder and Collagen Powder.

The move into the health and beauty retail space marks a significant milestone for Applied Nutrition, which recently launched products into retail giants, Tesco and Costco.

Applied Nutrition’s 450g Diet Protein Powders are available to buy in stores in best-selling flavours, Chocolate and Vanilla, with Strawberry and Salted Caramel available on the Superdrug website. The Collagen Powder will be available on shelves in the classic Unflavoured and Strawberry & Raspberry, with Tropical flavour online.

Demand for the Applied Nutrition Diet Protein Powder has increased exponentially over the last year, with sales of Diet Protein growing by 115%.  Likewise, the collagen market is driving demand in the UK where the market is expected to grow from $26.81 million in 2023 to $37.9 million by 2028.

The newly listed products, which are manufactured at the company’s Liverpool factory – a key employer in the area with more than 200 workers – will help to maintain Applied Nutrition’s position as one of Europe’s fastest growing sports nutrition, health & wellness brands.

Applied Nutrition Group CEO and Founder Tom Ryder said, “The sports nutrition, health & wellness markets are continuing to go from strength to strength with an estimated global market value of £189 billion, making it an incredibly important category for retailers.

“What’s really interesting is Applied Nutrition’s growth on the high street and now in the health and beauty space. Sports nutrition has gone beyond the gym and is now a part of the health-conscious consumer’s everyday routine.

“We’re so proud to grow the category and the Applied Nutrition brand, with all our powders manufactured in our brand home in Liverpool. We’ve got big plans for further growth and are excited for what’s to come next.”

Applied Nutrition products are already in several UK and international retailers including Asda, Tesco, Costco, Holland and Barratt, B&M, WHSmith, Home Bargains, Booker and Walmart.
