Kitwave Group plc, the delivered wholesale business, is pleased to announce that the Group has acquired the entire issued share capital of Total Foodservice Solutions Limited, a leading independent food wholesaler in the North of England. Established over 130 years ago, Total Foodservice delivers wholesale catering supplies of around 4,000 product lines including chilled, frozen and ambient food, non-food and cleaning products.

The vibrant setting of Sun City in South Africa played host to the SPAR UK 2024 Conference, where 480 independent SPAR retailers and families, national account customers, company owned store colleagues, suppliers, RDC and central office leaders attended the highly anticipated business event between 12-16 March 2024. The event, held at The Palace of the Lost City, Sun City, brought together a record number of UK professionals from across SPAR and the convenience sector for a winning exchange of ideas, insights, collaborations and charity-giving.

JJ Foodservice is a family-owned independent company, established in 1988. Its 12 nationwide branches are staffed by nearly 1,000 employees and the group works with more than 400 active local and global suppliers to supply over 3,000 product lines. B Corp, as a movement, was created in 2006, and it has now grown to having over 8,000 registered companies in 96 countries. Currently, there are over 2,000 B Corp certified brands in the UK, with an ever-growing number signing up, while a glance at the B Corp directory shows a number of brands successfully gaining B Corp accreditation in March 2024, writes Epicurium’s Marketing Manager, Richard Jefferson in a special report.
