Due to popular demand, Carlsberg Britvic is bringing back Tango Blast for another limited drop. Inspired by the iconic Tango Ice Blast flavours, Raspberry Blast and Cherry Blast are available now across the convenience channel in ready-to-drink 500ml formats once again. The products will continue to appeal to Gen Z shoppers wanting bold and exciting flavours from their on-the-go soft drinks.
Tango is a fan favourite of consumers, now worth £113m retail sales value and growing +7.6[1]%. The return of Tango Blast is set to build on this momentum, following the success of its first launch in April 2024. Tango Blast quickly became a top performer for the brand within immediate consumption, with Raspberry and Cherry securing first and second place for fruit-flavoured carbonate product development in 2024[2]. Furthermore, it contributed to almost half of Tango’s overall growth over the past year[3], setting Tango Blast up well for another limited-edition drop.
Tango Raspberry Blast and Tango Cherry Blast are available now across the convenience channel in a 500ml format (MRSP: £2.15) for a limited time of six months. To amplify this within the wholesale channel, the 500ml variants are now rolling out in Tango Blast printed cases, helping to increase the range’s visibility and stand out in-depot. In-store shopper activations will support the launch throughout April, as well as social and PR activations.
