Berkshire Botanical, the artisan spirit brand from Whitley Neill creator, Johnny Neill, has added a delicious new flavour to its line-up – Honey and Orange Blossom Gin.

As with all products in the Berkshire Botanical range, the Honey and Orange Blossom Gin is made on the Yattendon Estate in West Berkshire, taking inspiration from the local flora and fauna, with the honey also sourced from Cooper’s Honey & Bees, a prize winning honey supplier based nearby. The final product provides retailers with a sustainable, locally made gin which taps into the ongoing consumer demand for products with provenance.

The liquid boasts notes of orange blossom, with light notes of honey alongside crisp juniper and citrus, and is perfect mixed with Elderflower tonic or in a ‘Bee’s Knees’ Cocktail for a refreshing summer drink. The bottle artwork gives a nod to these local ingredients, with a smartly dressed owl as its feature character – all with embossed wording around the base of the bottle to give a premium feel and guarantee stand out on shelf.

Johnny Neill, founder of Berkshire Botanical, comments; “Provenance is very much central to the Berkshire Botanical ethos, and is something that is naturally increasingly important to shoppers too. We’re excited to partner with Cooper’s Honey & Bees, a great Berkshire based business who have provided us with quality, local honey for this latest launch. Not only does this provide us with a delicious tasting gin which is filled with beautiful, summery flavours but also enables us to deliver on on provenance and local credentials too, which will continue to be key”.

Jim Cooper,  from Cooper’s Honey & Bees, comments;  “With their focus on locally sourced produce and support for the flora and fauna of the Berkshire area we’re certainly well aligned with the Berkshire Botanical brand, and are thrilled to be working alongside them on the launch of their delicious new Honey and Orange Blossom gin”.

The new Berkshire Botanical Honey and Orange Blossom Gin has a 40.3% ABV and an RSP of £20 for a 50cl bottle. It joins Berkshire Botanical Dry Gin, Dandelion and Burdock Gin, Rhubarb and Raspberry and Sloe Gin to complete the range.
