This Christmas, Boost Drinks is going the extra mile to prove its love for independent retailers, by getting in the festive spirit and lending a helping hand (literally) to busy customers stocking up for Christmas.

At the start of December, staff from Boost headquarters visited Batleys Cash and Carry in Leeds to assist customers. The team filled cars with stock, pushed trolleys, restocked shelves and provided an extra set of hands at the busiest time of the year for retailers. Boost is never one to do things by halves, so to spread a bit of festive cheer they also did it dressed head to toe as Santa’s, or Boost’s, little helpers and handed out gifts of branded selection boxes containing stock to the lucky retailers!

As an independent company that only supplies to independent retailers, Boost understands the challenges that store owners face this time of year and looks for the best way that they can support them and show that Boost Loves Local. Therefore, Boost staff were keen to get face to face with their customers to give them assistance during their trip to their local wholesaler over the festive period.

Amy Ankrah, Trade Marketing Manager for Boost Drinks, said: “My colleagues and I had a brilliant time being Boost’s little helpers. It is a tough market out there, especially this time of year, so we wanted to show that we are here to help and show our commitment to independent retailers by getting them in the festive spirit!”.

This is the latest of ventures which shows Boost is committed to supporting wholesalers. This was recently affirmed at the Federation of Wholesale Distributor Awards, where Amy won ‘The Young Supplier of the Year Award’ title.

This award comes off the back of what has been a hugely successful year for the energy, protein and sports drink producer. Throughout 2018, Boost brought not one, but two new products to the market, put on its most successful summer marketing campaign ever and is now the official #2 Sports and Energy SKU in the UK[1]! So, during the wholesaler visits, they also took the opportunity to thank retailers for their support this year.
