Brakes has updated and expanded its Birchstead meat and poultry brand to reflect its status as a premium range that represents top quality butchery and innovative, on-trend products.

The premium quality Birchstead brand represents the best that Brakes has to offer in beef, lamb, pork, and chicken products. Birchstead includes named breeds and is characterised by the highest animal welfare standards (outdoor bred and RSPCA assured) and the very best butchery specifications.

Previously associated exclusively with Brakes’ superior aged beef lines, the Birchstead brand will now include products from across the company’s range of meat and poultry, all of which have been selected for their exceptional quality. Steaks in the Birchstead range, including Aberdeen Angus products, will be upgraded to 28 days maturation, and a number of new lines have been added including fillet steaks and a new 10oz ribeye.
