Brakes has launched its Autumn/Winter product collection during an interactive three day event at its Covent Garden Headquarters which was attended by customers from a wide range of different sectors including: B&I, healthcare, education, pubs, hotels and restaurants.

The roadshow style event gave customers the opportunity to tour a number of themed zones with specific areas relevant to care homes, hospitals, coffee shops, street food and Christmas. Along the way they were able to try a wide selection of the products being launched, ranging from indulgent cakes and pastries to healthier snacks, pizza to British charcuterie, “free from” to tableware.

A series of rolling food presentations hosted by Brakes’ team of development chefs demonstrated how customers could get the best out of the new products whilst category and sector specialists were on hand to share incremental sales ideas as well as offering their insight into current flavour and menu trends.

Of particular interest to customers were the many recipe ideas specifically created by Brakes for the different sectors, for example meals and desserts for elderly people living with dementia and dysphagia.
