Fruity, low calorie, lower sugar energy drink brand Carabao has announced it will be rolling out a cash incentive for customers in wholesaler depots for the month of August 2020, to reward retailers and drive sales growth.

When retailers purchase any case of Carabao Energy Drink (plain or PMP) from participating wholesalers during August they will be in with a chance of winning one of thirteen £500 cash prizes, and one lucky winner scooping the top prize of £5,000.

Every participating wholesaler is guaranteed at least one £500 winner. One case purchased is one entry in the draw. The more cases each retailer buys, the more entries they get! There is no limit to the number of entries allowed.

The promotion comes after Carabao has taken the market by storm in 2020, becoming the UK’s fastest growing energy drink[1], driving category growth and incremental sales. 33% of Carabao sales growth comes from shoppers who are new to the category[2] which can be attributed to how its delicious and fruity energy drinks satisfy a number of consumer needs. Not only does Carabao’s range boast great tasting fruit flavoured energy drinks, all products contain 60% less sugar than major competitors and only 63 calories per can.

Carabao will be advertising to ensure strong awareness and participation in this £10,000+ prize retailer competition. Wholesalers should ensure they have plenty of Carabao Energy Drink in stock this August to ensure that they are well prepared for what is expected to be a very popular promotion!
