Caterforce is continuing to invest in its Chefs’ Selections Premium Collection, with the launch of a new range of premium breads and indulgent cakes designed around some of the key trends shaping today’s foodservice market.
The latest additions reflect Caterforce’s focus on developing a Premium Collection range that keeps pace with changing consumer expectations, giving operators access to products that can help them create more premium, contemporary menu options without adding unnecessary complexity in the kitchen.
Six new breads will join the range, responding to the continued evolution of the sandwich occasion. As coffee shops, cafés and grab-and-go operators move beyond the traditional sandwich, the carrier itself is increasingly becoming part of the appeal, with sourdoughs, speciality breads and more distinctive formats helping operators elevate familiar favourites.
From premium baguettes and deli-style sandwiches to buns and handhelds, the range gives operators a choice of versatile carriers that can add perceived value to menus across breakfast, lunch and all-day dining.
Alongside the bakery launches, Caterforce is also expanding its Premium Collection cake range with four new desserts.
The new cakes tap into consumers’ continued appetite for small moments of indulgence when eating out. Familiar favourites are combined with more distinctive and on-trend flavours, giving operators desserts that feel special enough to justify the treat occasion while remaining accessible to a broad customer base.
Rebecca Woollam, Own Brand Marketing Manager at Caterforce, said: “Our Premium Collection is an area we’re really focused on developing. We want to make sure we’re not simply adding products for the sake of expanding the range; we’re closely examining how menus and consumer expectations are changing and identifying where our own-brand offer can provide something genuinely relevant.
“With the breads, we’re seeing sandwiches become much more elevated, particularly across coffee shops and grab-and-go. Consumers are being offered better breads, more interesting fillings and products that feel much closer to something they might expect from a specialist bakery or deli.
“At the same time, treating remains incredibly important. Consumers may be more considered about where they spend, but there is still a strong desire for something indulgent when they do choose to treat themselves. Our new cakes combine recognisable favourites with flavours such as matcha, hazelnut praline, spiced pear and whisky cream to give operators something that feels a little more special.
“These launches are part of our wider ambition to ensure Premium Collection continues to offer products that respond to what’s happening in the market and help our members and their customers create menus that feel current, premium and commercially relevant.”
The new additions will join the existing Chefs’ Selections Premium Collection range, which has been developed to provide foodservice operators with high-quality products suited to premium menu applications.
The new cakes are available now, with the new breads scheduled to launch in December.
