D&I in Grocery LIVE!  is back for the third year and, due to unprecedented growth, is moving to the InterContinental London, the o2. Taking place on October 21st, the Programme’s 75 FMCG Partner brands, and more than 1500 delegates, will gather at the annual event for Diversity and Inclusion in Grocery.

Bringing his expertise as a global DEI speaker and respected organisational psychologist, John Amaechi OBE, is hosting the all-day event, while Tanni Baroness Grey-Thompson DBE, a high-profile disability rights advocate, will be delivering a thought-provoking keynote speech to delegates.

Inspiring delegates with their personal stories will be Maya Jethwa, Regional Sales Manager at Moet Hennessy UK and LBGTQ+ Representative; Obiamaka Chidinma Azubike, European Category and Shopper Manager Kellogg’s and gender and racial equity champion, plus Dan Hughes, Senior Executive at KPMG and mental health ambassador.

The Great Debate Panel will welcome change-makers from Diversity & Inclusion in Grocery’s (DIG) Partner brands, representing a cross-section of the supply chain, to discuss if the industry is really listening when it comes to D&I across our entire workforce. As part of the afternoon Senior Leaders’ Panel, leaders from Partner Brands will discuss their own experience of successfully overcoming barriers to progressing D&I within their own organisations.

Between engaging main stage talks and inspiring stories, delegates can create their own personal agenda over three hours from a choice of 15 different Live Lab topics and 50+ Speed Networking sessions, hosted by DIG Partners. This rotating format provides delegates with a unique opportunity to tailor their experience, ensuring they get the greatest benefit from the day and connect with Partners.

“Anyone who works in grocery and wants to drive change within their organisation will leave D&I in Grocery LIVE! inspired and equipped to make a difference, regardless of where their organisation is on the D&I journey, “ says Jane Hill, Fundraising Director at GroceryAid. “Organisations that attended last year’s event became Partners of DIG 2022 because they saw the depth and breadth of the D&I landscape and how our existing Partners are collaborating to support each other in DIG’s quest to make grocery the most inclusive industry to work in.”
