UK wholesaler, Epicurium, has onboarded a series of new low-sugar snack and hydration products from popular brands, as the healthier consumption trend looks set to continue amongst consumers.
In response to data insights collected by the wholesaler, Epicurium has announced that it will extend its offering in low or no sugar alternatives. The offering will include new snacking options from The Savourists, as well as a number of functional, healthier hydration options from Living Things, VITAL, Radnor, EauYES, Revolution Waves and ActiPH, including prebiotics, still and sparkling vitamin waters, flavoured spring waters, and alkaline ionised waters, all of which will be available to order from August.
The strategic decision follows on from a blockbuster summer of sport, which placed performance and health at the forefront of the nation’s attention and saw an increase in demand for refreshing hydration, as consumers seek functional health benefits to aid physical and mental wellbeing.
The additions complement Epicurium’s existing selection of healthy snacks and hydration options, curated to meet the evolving needs of the modern consumer, with a host of functional, on-the-go offerings available to help retailers maximise their range and satisfy the wide variety of shopper missions.
