Rum brand Flor de Caña has appointed leading independent distributor Paragon Brands as its exclusive UK distribution partner, taking on full management of all sales, marketing and logistics from now.
It will manage full UK distribution for all ten products in the Flor de Caña range across on-trade, off-trade, wholesale and cash and carry, convenience, retail and e-commerce. The move strengthens Paragon Brands’ growing rum portfolio, bringing a globally-renowned producer into its wider collection of international spirits brands, supporting them to accelerate growth in the marketplace.
The fifth-generation, family-owned Nicaraguan rum brand dates back to 1890. Its rum is aged at the base of an active volcano and distilled using 100% renewable energy. The brand is certified Carbon Neutral by SCS Global Services, reflecting its long-standing commitment to environmental responsibility.
At the heart of the range is Flor de Caña 12 Year Old, a super-premium, single-estate rum naturally aged for 12 years. Enjoyed neat, over ice or in a premium cocktail, it anchors a wider portfolio spanning exceptional aged sipping rums, tropical rum liqueurs and versatile mixing expressions. The wider range includes premium aged rums, Blanco and Gran Reserva mixing expressions, accessible 30% ABV Oro Reserva and Spiced expressions, and Coco and Spresso liqueurs, spanning premium sipping, classic rum cocktails, tropical long drinks and coffee-led serves, creating opportunities across all channels, venues and drinking occasions.
