Following the growing success of sharing size RTD’s,[1] independent drinks company Global Brands has expanded its value canned cocktail brand, Flare, by launching two classic flavours and one new flavour in 70cl bottes, exclusive to independent retailers.
Sales of Flare 250ml canned cocktails have soared recently, with the brand now worth £1.1m and growing +27% (value)[2] within the Impulse channel. Therefore, Flare is introducing three 70cl bottles in two classic flavours; Passion Fruit Martini and Mojito, and introducing a new flavour; Strawberry Daiquiri. Consumer interest in cocktails has surged this year, with more than one in five (22%) consumers now drinking cocktails in the on-trade.[3] Combining that with the success of 70cl’s in the off-trade, Global Brands has launched Flare into this format to provide the perfect solution for consumers looking for sharing size cocktails.

Flare is currently available to purchase from Bestway, Parfetts, plus many other regional and national wholesalers. In fitting with the rest of the range, the 70cl bottles will be price-marked at £2.99, enabling retailers to drive further RTD cocktail growth in stores.
