California Raisins are pleased to announce that Greenhalgh’s Craft Bakery is the winner of the California Raisin Bread Competition 2011 which took place at Bakers Fair, Newbury Racecourse, on Sunday 10th April 2011.

Greenhalgh’s walked away with first prize having received top marks from the judges for their Sweet Caribbean Brioche Nanterre. The winning product reflected the flavours of the Caribbean cocktail, Pina Colada, containing ingredients such as coconut, pineapple, rum and 50% California Raisins.

As a result of Greenhalgh’s winning first prize, the Company will receive free marketing promotional retail support to include in-store POS and media coverage from California Raisins over the next year.
