Hancocks in Hull is the latest depot to celebrate the wholesalers 60th anniversary.
The depot on Sutton Fields Industrial Estate celebrated the milestone birthday at an event for customers and suppliers on Thursday 4th August.
The customers who attended were able to take advantage of hundreds of offers as well as prize draws and giveaways and meet the team and suppliers.
The Hull event was sponsored by Haribo, Nestle, Mondelez and Frisia.
Brand representatives from Haribo, LoveRaw, Swizzels, Perfetti and Seabrooks Crisps were all in attendance.
The Hancocks depot in Hull opened in October 1989 and over the last three decades has seen trade double.
It supplies retailers across East Yorkshire, Humberside and the surrounding areas with confectionery from around the world. It also offers a click and collect service for customers who prefer to shop online.
Sixtieth anniversary celebrations will be taking place across the Hancocks stores throughout this year.
Manager Dave Green said: “60 years is a huge milestone, so we wanted to celebrate by being able to thank our customers for their continuous support and this was a fantastic way to do it.
“It was a great day and lovely to do something special for our customers who have supported us for years, particularly over the last couple of years during the pandemic.
“We couldn’t have marked the 60th anniversary in a better way and we’re looking forward to many more decades trading in Hull.”
