Hancocks in Bradford has celebrated the wholesalers 60th anniversary in style.
The depot in Euroway Industrial Estate celebrated the milestone birthday at an event for customers and suppliers (Thursday 22nd September).
The 242 customers who attended were able to take advantage of hundreds of offers as well as prize draws and giveaways and meet the team and suppliers.
The Bradford event was sponsored by Haribo, Nestle, Mondelez and Frisia.
Brand representatives from Haribo, Nestle, Mars, Vimto and Shmoo were all in attendance.
The Hancocks depot in Bradford opened in 1981. Products from the store can be seen in the popular soap opera Emmerdale in the Farm Shop which has the Bonds Shaker Cups on display.
It supplies retailers across West Yorkshire and the surrounding areas with confectionery from around the world. It also offers a click and collect service for customers who prefer to shop online.
Sixtieth anniversary celebrations will be taking place across the Hancocks stores throughout this year.
Manager Linda Haley said: “60 years is a huge milestone, so we wanted to celebrate by being able to thank our customers for their continuous support and this was a fantastic way to do it.
“It was a great day and lovely to do something special for our customers who have supported us for years, particularly over the last couple of years during the pandemic.
“We couldn’t have marked the 60th anniversary in a better way and we’re looking forward to many more year’s trading in Bradford.”
