Fresh Fayre has launched a basket of goodies for Easter, with treats and cakes to appeal to all ages, available to order right now, while stocks last.

With the emphasis very much on hygienic individually wrapped goods, the Easter collection includes gluten-free and vegan options, and comes with cake cards to support Natasha’s Law, the requirement to provide full ingredient lists with clear allergen labelling on Pre-Packed for Direct Sale foods.

Hopping onto the treats display, the Oh So Scrummy Easter Gingerbread Bunny is a traditional gingerbread bunny-shaped biscuit hand-decorated with piped icing, packed 20 x 60g biscuits to a case. Next up are the lemon-flavoured, decorated chick or lamb muffins packed in 12s, while Easter Bakewell tarts are also topped with an iced chick decoration, packed 24 to a case.

Easter Viennese whirls, 21 to a box, come filled with vanilla frosting and raspberry jam and are dipped in white chocolate, finished with sugar sprinkles. The final seasonal treat is the Easter Friends traditional gingerbread biscuit, hand-decorated with piped icing in the shape of an Easter Egg or an Easter Bunny,18 to a case.

Six cakes and two mini loaves complete the Fresh Fayre spring specials. The Easter Chocolate Nest Cake is a chocolate-flavoured sponge filled with vanilla- flavoured cream, decorated with chocolate-flavoured cream and topped with nests of sugar-coated chocolate eggs.

Just as the name suggests, the Lemon Triple Cake comprises three moist lemon sponges layered with lemon curd, topped with lemon frosting, lemon peaks and white chocolate shards. For lovers of classic Victoria sponge, the Easter Daisy Victoria Cake offers light sponge sandwiched with raspberry jam and vanilla frosting, topped with frosting and sugar daisies.

Catering for all tastes, the Easter Carrot Patch Cake is a light carrot cake packed with juicy sultanas, filled and topped with cream cheese icing, and decorated with sugar paste carrots. For vegans, there is a double layer, lemon-flavoured vegan sponge, filled with elderflower-flavoured frosting and lemon curd, topped with frosting and chick decorations. All of the cakes offer 12 to 14 portions.

The individually wrapped mini loaves include a lightly spiced sponge hot cross variety, packed with fruits, and finished with a glaze and traditional icing cross. A mixed case offers a light lemon infused sponge with a lemon-flavoured icing and a milk chocolate mini egg, plus a chocolate loaf finished with rich chocolate-flavour icing and a milk chocolate mini egg. Mini loaves are packed 20 to a case.
