This July marks the launch of a brand new Brain Bar from plant -powered supplement and snack brand, INDI. Designed to feed your brain, support cognitive function and reduce fatigue, the latest launch also delivers gut-loving fibre, (6.3g/ 35g bar) to satisfy hunger and deliver slow release energy. Made using 16 nutrient-rich brain foods, it contains VitB12, C and D3 as well as Iron and Zinc. Rolling out on the INDI website and with Ocado from July (RRP: £2.20 / 35g bar), it will also be available to independents via wholesalers including CLF, Diverse Fine Foods and Artisan Food Club.
With a focus on flavour, the new raw snack bar boasts a rich chocolate-berry taste from a diverse line-up of whole food plant ingredients. Made using the INDI Mind superfood powder blend, it has a chewy almond butter and date base, chopped crunchy walnuts, flax seeds and puffed quinoa. Bursts of cranberry, blueberry and haskap berry provide just the right amount of natural sweetness, containing just 4g of natural sugar per bar.
Brain Bar is truly a supplement in a bar with hero ingredients including; Lion’s Mane Mushrooms – a nootropic found to enhance cognitive abilities by stimulating the growth and regeneration of brain cells and helping the brain form new neural pathways; Haskap berry – rich in anthocyanins and flavonoids to improve blood flow to the brain; Rhodiola Rosea – an adaptogen shown to lower anxiety by reducing cortisol levels and Guarana – containing slow-release caffeine and other phytochemicals, shown to enhance attention and focus. As with the rest of the INDI range, the new bar is also 100% plant based, gluten-free and contains no added sugars, sweeteners, artificial flavourings, emulsifiers or preservatives.
The launch brings the INDI’s smart but simple product portfolio to four. Each product in the range is designed to bring better health to more people through the power of plants with a focus on filling common nutrition gaps and answering real world health needs.
