Taking the work out of the wok, Straight to Wok ready-to-use tofu cubes from The Tofoo Co. have joined food wholesaler KFF’s line-up, promising caterers and foodservice operators a tasty vegan-friendly dish in just 10 minutes.
Two Tofoo Co. Straight to Wok varieties – a Naked, and a spicy Ginger & Chilli version – are now available from KFF, frozen and ready to hit the pan alongside stir fry vegetables and sauces to make a variety of Asian inspired meals in minutes. Both come conveniently pre-cubed and dipped in cornflour for an added crunch, while the flavoured tofu has an extra sprinkling of ginger and chilli.
The Tofoo Co.’s organic tofu is hand-made in Yorkshire to a traditional Japanese recipe using only three ingredients: water, soya beans and nigari, an all-natural extract made from seawater. Tofu takes on the flavour of any dish it’s added to so try cooking Tofoo Co. cubes in different oils to ring the changes.
