Kocktail, the multi-award-winning UK small-batch cocktail brand, is set to serve up sales success as it unveils a brand-new addition to its premium ready-to-drink (RTD) line-up, the new Kocktail Glass.
Offering a point of difference in the category, the new launch will serve up a fresh take on ready-to-drink. Reflecting the brand’s focus on an elevated at-home cocktail experience, it delivers a first-of-it’s-category cocktail glass format, containing a premium cocktail
Designed to be kept and reused in a world where other players are yet to deliver on recyclability, the aesthetically pleasing and environmentally friendly Kocktail Glass is also exempt from the upcoming Deposit Return Scheme for single-use plastic bottles and cans, set to launch in October 2027.
Alongside creating something to be kept and experienced beyond the first use, Kocktail is marking the next step in the evolution of category premiumisation, using world-best spirits in every one of its serves, such as Elijah Craig Small Batch, known as the Father of Bourbon, alongside favourites such as Hepple Gin, Asterley Bros and Cazcabel.
With consumers continuing to seek out higher quality and higher ABV options as they look for a moment of indulgence, the widely renowned and highly decorated industry and shopper favourites are perfectly positioned to feed this growing appetite.
Enabling consumers to trial premium, high-price spirits in a cocktail, without the need to invest in a full bottle, Kocktail is also catering to shoppers increasingly seeking clear value and justification when making purchase decisions[1].
Now worth £630m in the UK[2], the RTD category is one of the fastest growing segments in alcohol, and with the quantity of pre-mixed bottled and canned cocktails sold by UK retailers rising 30% in the last year[3], Kocktail’s innovative new format is perfectly placed to meet this consumer appetite.
Launching in early August with a line-up of three classic cocktail variants, each 100ml serve is designed to deliver a standard-sized cocktail in a ready-to-drink glass. Offering consumers the choice of a Negroni, Old Fashioned and Margarita, each chosen for their classic appeal, Kocktail’s premium ready-to-drink glass format means consumers simply need to add ice and garnish for a true, high-end cocktail experience from the comfort of home, marking a direct contrast to the saturation of cans on the market.
Andrew Hutchinson, Co-Founder at Kocktail, says, “At Kocktail we’ve spent the last five years proudly taking every decision to ensure our drinks are the best on the market. From mixing everything in house, by hand, to trialing and tweaking every ingredient and recipe until we hit the perfect serve. We always wanted to enable our loyal customers to pick up a Kocktail for under £10 but we find that every time we see a cocktail in a can, or a pouch, we just wish it was in a glass, with ice and a lovely garnish and all the ceremony that surrounds that. We think a cocktail should be an experience and we think our beautiful new Kocktail glasses really deliver on that.”
