Ahead of the biggest Northern Restaurant & Bar show yet, Diversified Communications, organisers of the award-winning lunch! and Casual Dining trade shows have announced the launch of lunch! NORTH.

This new show will take place at Manchester Central alongside an extended Northern Restaurant & Bar on 11 – 12 March 2025.  lunch! NORTH will focus on the café, coffee shop and food-to-go sector in the North and provide a dedicated trade show for all operators.

Exhibitors will be handpicked suppliers with innovative products and solutions for decision makers from multi-site and independent food to-go operators.

Group Event Director Chris Brazier explained the reason for the launch “The North, and indeed Northern Restaurant & Bar, is full of incredible restaurant, pub, and bar operators, but is also home to some of the best coffee shops, cafés, and food-to-go operators that you’ll find anywhere. After positive conversations with the who’s who of the sector it’s clear that there is a strong appetite for a lunch! show in the North. The ongoing success of the lunch! show in London, and indeed the growth we are seeing with NRB, makes us very confident this will be another unmissable event for the whole hospitality industry”.

Feedback on the launch has been exceptional and is already being hailed as a boost to café, coffee shop and food-to-go operators across the region and the hospitality industry as a whole.

Matt Farrell, Co-Founder of Bold Street Coffee (part of the award winning GSG group) says “I’ve visited NRB for years but the launch of the co-located lunch! NORTH show provides an exciting new chapter dedicated to café, coffee shop, and food to go operators across the region, covering one of the most exciting cultural and innovative sectors of hospitality. It’s also been my favourite show in London for years.”

A regular visitor to lunch! in London, Manchester based Emily Hawkley, Operations Director at Burgerism agrees “lunch! NORTH coming in 2025 is the best news ever! This is fantastic news for food-to-go operators in the region. Can’t wait.”

Over the last 15 years, lunch! (3-time winner of best UK Trade show) has become the go to event for the food-to-go sector and has won many loyal advocates from industry leaders, major brands, and influential associations alike.

“lunch! fosters creativity and collaboration, encourages people to meet and explore possibilities. It is my favourite industry show. Wishing the fantastic lunch! team all the success in the North!” says industry leader Marta Pogroszewska, Managing Director, GAIL’s

“This is fantastic news! lunch! is one of my favourite shows and great to see you bringing it to the North.
