Want to cheer up the chicken? Buck up the bacon? Fire up the fries? Then you will be saying halleluiah and thank you to the team at Funnybones Foodservice for their new flavoured salts. They are bringing all the good vibes with these two new, easy-peasy food fixes.

It’s never been so easy to add some oomph to your casual dining menu. Hickory Bacon Salt brings woody and smoky bacon flavours to the table. Cheezy Bacon salt adds a pokey dash of mature cheese flavour in a simple salty sprinkle.

“We are pretty excited about the possibilities for these tasty salts,” says Tom Styman-Heighton, Development Chef at Funnybones Foodservice. There’s just so many ways to use them to add big bold flavours to dishes and lift them to a whole new level. And it’s so easy, no cooking required.  Simply sprinkle on top of cooked dishes, use in marinades or add to mayonnaise to create tasty dips.

Chips, roasted veg and burgers will love a Cheezy sprinkle but you might want to gussie up your Cassava Fries with a dash of Hickory Bacon. Hickory is also great as a steak marinade – meat or fish – as a salad sprinkle or in a dip for fries.

Being vegan and allergen free, both salts will suit most diets, increasing their versatility.  They have been introduced as part of the Funnybones Foodservice Rio Pacific seasonings range which includes own brand Fajita, Texas Chilli, Cajun Blackened and Smoky Butt flavourings. The tubs have shaker and pour options. Pack size is 6 x 375g.
