With consumers gearing up for a Christmas filled with fun, family, and food, Nisa is supporting its retail partners with deals on a raft of festive favourites.

The promotions are available in stores now until Sunday 2nd January and are supported by dedicated festive POS, along with digital support from Nisa’s consumer-facing social pages and website.

Those hosting on the big day are well catered for with deals on mealtime must-haves including Co-op Beef Roasting Joint for half price at £7 per kg, Aunt Bessie’s Stuffing Balls 310g at £1, a range of Co-op seasonal vegetables including sprouts, carrots and parsnips at 69p a bag, Colman’s Cranberry 165g and Horseradish 136g sauce pots at £1 each, and Co-op Irresistible Sticky Toffee Pudding 400g at just £2, saving shoppers £1.89.

Nisa’s offline marketing lead, Chris Walker said: “Almost a quarter of shoppers are planning on spending a bit more on food and drink this year to ensure that Christmas Day, Boxing Day and even New Year’s Eve are extra special, after last year’s pared back holiday celebrations.”

Coca Cola Zero and Diet Coke 24x330ml packs are also available at just £7 each, Carling 10x440ml is £8 and WKD 70cl bottles are on a two for £5.50 multi-buy offer.

“Offering a range of main meal, drinks and snacking lines in-store will help our partners appeal to a larger customer base and even capture the attention of those that come into store with a different shopping mission”, said Walker.

To further support the smaller moments surrounding the big day, Nisa partners are offering shoppers everything they will need for an intimate cheese and wine night including Co-op

Wensleydale & Cranberry Wedge 180g and Co-op Wensleydale & Apricot Wedge 180g on a two for £3 deal, and Yellow Tail Chardonnay at just £6.50 a bottle.

Shoppers can also pick up the perfect last-minute present for under £10 with help from Nisa’s gifting promotion. Included is Maltesers 110g boxes at £1.25 and Cadbury Milk Tray 530g at £5.50, saving shoppers £6.50 off the RRP.

Walker said: “A ‘Great Gifts’ mini kit has been provided to partners as a part of the Christmas point of sale kit to help them clearly define their gifting offering and capture those last-minute shoppers. Displaying an accompanying bottle of prosecco or wine to pair with a box of chocolates is a great way to build basket spend on gifting.

“Increasing worries around the spread of the Omicron variant further cement the role convenience stores play within their communities. Many Nisa Local stores are well placed to conveniently and safely provide customers with everything they will need to make this year’s big day special, without breaking the bank.”
