• Monster Ultra Vice Guava is the latest addition to the no.1 zero sugar energy range in GB[1]
  • Latest NPD builds on a strong 12 months, which has seen Monster add £70.3m to its retail value, with £13.0m delivered through Ultra range[2]

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has announced the latest addition to its hugely successful zero sugar Monster Ultra range with a new guava flavoured variant, Monster Ultra Vice Guava.

Available now exclusively in Tesco and rolling out nationwide from late July, Monster Ultra Vice Guava will bring the taste of Miami to the chiller, with perfectly ripened guava flavour paired with the powerful Monster Energy blend, giving consumers a delicious, refreshing energy boost with zero calories and zero sugar.

Monster Ultra Vice Guava will be available in plain and price-marked 500ml single cans at a recommended retail price of £1.75. The vibrant 80’s inspired Miami vice can design is set to deliver maximum standout on shelf to drive sales.

Guava flavours have grown by over 22% in the last two years[3], and Monster Ultra Vice Guava is perfectly placed to tap into this, having become Monster’s best-selling Ultra flavour in the US[4].

Convenience retailers can request Monster Ultra Vice Guava POS materials and download digital assets via My.CCEP.com to help bring the launch to life in-store and online.

Monster Ultra growth

Monster Ultra Vice Guava is the latest addition to Monster’s portfolio and follows the arrival of Monster Juiced Viking Berry which has already launched in 2026.

Low-calorie energy is now worth £631m in GB[5], and Monster is driving the growth of the segment – holding a 55% share of the low-calorie energy category,[6] with £72.2 delivered through the Ultra platform[7].

This has helped Monster Ultra become the fastest growing major energy brand in GB[8], worth over £273.6m and adding £72.2m of sales[9] in the last year alone while maintaining volume growth[10]. The Monster Ultra range is the no.1 zero sugar energy brand in GB[11].

Rob Yeomans, Vice-President, Commercial Development at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners GB, said: “Energy drinks continue to go from strength to strength and remain one of the most dynamic segments in soft drinks, with zero sugar innovation playing a central role in driving growth. That’s exactly why Monster Ultra continues to be such a powerful platform for retailers – combining bold flavours and a striking can design to appeal to more consumers, on more occasions.

“We’re confident that Monster Ultra Vice Guava will build on this momentum. Guava is a flavour consumers are increasingly seeking out[12], and it’s already proven to be a hit in the US[13]. With a vibrant, stand-out can and a refreshing zero sugar taste profile, it’s perfectly placed to turn heads in the chiller, excite loyal Monster fans and bring new shoppers into the category.”
