When health conscious muesli manufacturers, Southern Alps, were looking for new packaging for their range of Slow Puck bars they were keen to benefit from using a film supplier with previous knowledge and experience of similar projects. The Slow Puck bars are a new venture for Southern Alps who have initially rolled out a range of 4 different flavours made from only the finest slow dried fruits, nuts and seeds with no additives or preservatives.
Lotte Garner, one of Southern Alp’s directors, wanted the packaging to carry their company branding as well as making the bars inside visible to the customer for maximum shelf-appeal.
They soon found what they were looking when Bradford based film packaging specialists, National Flexible, supplied them with a lightweight printed flow-wrap film. National Flexible’s Design Manager, Phil Parkinson, was well practiced from previous product launches to make sure that the project ran smoothly.
“The Slow Puck bars look great and they’re selling really well,” said Lotte. “National Flexible helped us by making sure that our packing film was ready on time and within budget. We’re delighted with the results,” she continued.
