Organic Absorbents, a North Yorkshire-based company, are at the forefront of problem solving with the launch of their innovative ‘Fat Trap’. Designed to make cleaning and disposal of oily residue in the kitchen much easier, the super-absorbent pouches ‘drink up’ hot liquid oils and fats for easy, clean disposal into the bin or onto the compost.
The versatile product can be used to absorb any number of liquids that would ordinarily be difficult to dispose of in domestic or commercial kitchens and prevents any long term problems associated with waste cooking oils and fats clogging up pipes, drains and sewers.
As a new retail venture, Organic Absorbents needed eye-catching packaging to help the Fat Trap stand out and give it instant shelf-appeal. On recommendation they turned to film packaging specialists National Flexible, who provided them with a printed film to use on their automated flow-wrap packaging machine.
