Launched in October 2022 by entrepreneur Lucy Smith, Neurita was born from a simple love of margaritas. After realising that most tequila brands were very male orientated, stoic and serious, which was the complete opposite to how she felt about margaritas, Lucy decided it was time to shake up the sector.
With over 20 years working as a marketeer in the drinks industry, Lucy set about researching, sourcing and testing with the aim of developing a brand that could breathe new life into the iconic cocktail and the tequila category as a whole.
Specially crafted for margaritas, Neurita launched to inspire a new wave of margarita and tequila drinking through simplicity and flavour. The brand has wasted no time in turning heads after being voted ‘Best Flavoured Tequila’ at the World Tequila Awards this year.
Made using the finest agave Tequila Blanco, carefully sourced from one of Jalisco’s most respected producers, the special liquid is then infused in the UK with real fruit extracts and botanicals.

Winner of the ‘Best Flavoured Tequila’ at the World Tequila Awards 2023, Neurita Tequila Blanco Citrus sees the finest agave tequila infused with fresh Sicilian orange & tangerine fruit extracts.
Neurita Tequila Blanco – Rosa – 35% abv
A naturally plush pink tequila made with the agave tequila infused with real raspberry, strawberry and pomegranate fruit extracts. For a luscious light pink, berry-banging margarita cocktail, simply add lime juice and a dash of agave syrup.
Neurita Tequila Blanco – Picante – 35% abv
The newest arrival launching in November, the Neurita Picante sees the agave tequila infused with indomitable Scotch Bonnet Chilli, green chilli and tangerine extracts. Great for spicy margaritas and cocktails, the spicy chilli notes are balanced by the sweet tangerine flavours. For a delicious and very much on trend spicy margarita cocktail, simply add lime juice and a dash of agave syrup.
