A NEW sauce from Funnybones Foodservice is set to take their range of BBQ flavours in a new direction. Bringing a taste of the Far East to the grill, the new Encona Bulgogi Marinade is rich with ginger, garlic, Asian pear and sesame oil. 

This is a fashionable and versatile marinade that delivers all the heat, sweetness and umami tastes of the popular Korean dish. Particularly good on the BBQ, the flavours of Bulgogi work really well with the smoky charr of a flaming grill.

“This is delicious served up in the traditional way as a marinade for very thinly sliced beef, which is then quickly grilled. Infact, it’s good on any meat, fish or vegetables,” says Funnybones Development Chef Tom Styman-Heighton.  “It’s a vegan sauce too, made with natural flavours and colours, so it’s fantastic for adding a flavour bomb to vegan ingredients like Seitan, Jackfruit and Tofu. “
