Love Drinks has boosted its unrivalled collection of impressive Japanese drinks with the launch of a citrus gin double act from the award-winning Etsu Distillery.
Available immediately to the retail and hospitality sectors in 70cl bottles, the new duo includes the citrus forward, light and refreshing Etsu Yuzu and the fresh and fruity Etsu Orange Gin. Both have abv’s of 43%.
Etsu Double Orange and Etsu Double Yuzu Gin are distilled at the Akita Distillery in the Akita prefecture of Japan in the Honshu Island. Akita Prefecture is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan and extends east to the ?u Mountains, the longest mountain range in Japan.
Made using natural ingredients and great care, Etsu uses traditional botanicals such as Japanese yuzu, bitter orange peel, juniper berries, liquorice root, angelica, coriander and matcha, which are macerated for seven days to extract maximum flavour.
After maceration, the gin is distilled without the botanicals to allow the oils to infuse. Only after the distillation process is fresh mountain water added, which provides the gins with their inimitable fresh taste.
