Woods Foodservice, London’s premier foodservice company, is now delivering the finest fresh produce and foodservice ingredients to Bristol and Manchester, following the ongoing success of its first extension to Brighton.

The move is part of the award-winning wholesaler’s ambitious plans to service the needs of the UK’s top chefs beyond the capital. Leading restaurants in Bristol already using Woods include the acclaimed Klosterhaus, Coppa Club and Adelina Yard. While in Manchester, Blues Kitchen is the first restaurant to have taken the opportunity to access Woods’ high end range of fresh produce and foodservice ingredients.

Acclaimed Bristol-based chef Rhys Grayson, of the restaurant Klosterhaus, is excited by the development: “Woods have an outstanding reputation, and this move gives us regular, easy access to some of the very finest ingredients available. That’s good news for me and my customers.” 

Gabor Nyiri ,Head Chef at Blues Kitchen Manchester said: “The food scene in Manchester is thriving, boasting everything from classic British cuisine to trailblazing tasting menus. Top restaurants need top ingredients, and demand has never been higher so Woods and their extensive product list are a very welcome addition to the supplier base.”

Coppa Club Clifton has partnered up with Woods, stating that: “Quality produce, great service and an eco-friendly outlook are values we look for in our suppliers, and Woods ticks all of those boxes. We want to be able to rely on fantastic ingredients, when we need them, to deliver stand-out dishes.” 

Darren Labbett, Managing Director for Woods Foodservice, said: “While London remains very much our core, we are extremely excited to share our produce further afield, working with some of the incredibly exciting chefs driving the flourishing food scenes in both Bristol and Manchester.”

Woods operate an extremely reliable delivery service with an order deadline of 1am for delivery that same morning. Additionally, Woods are a certified carbon neutral company, offering a recycling scheme on cardboard, plastic and oil for free.

Labbett adds: “We are constantly striving to improve every aspect of our business, in particular looking to reduce our environmental impact.”
