Hall’s of Driffield Nisa Local store has donated £3,000 to Northfield Infant School through Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally (MADL) charity initiative.

The donation will be used to support a range of important projects at the school, benefiting current and future generations of pupils.

Russell Hall, joint owner of Hall’s of Driffield Nisa Local, expressed his delight in supporting the local school.

“We are thrilled to be able to give back to our community through this donation to Northfield Infant School. Education is at the heart of any thriving community, and we are committed to supporting the development of our young people. We believe this donation will make a real difference to the lives of the children at the school and will have a positive impact for generations to come.”

Making a Difference Locally is a long-standing partnership between Nisa and its independent retail customers which allows store owners to give back to their communities. Through the initiative, Nisa retailers can nominate local good causes to receive donations from their store’s charity fund.

Sue Searby, Business Manager at Northfield Infants, added: “We are incredibly grateful to Hall’s of Driffield and Nisa for this generous donation. This money will make a huge difference to our school, allowing us to invest in a trim trail that will benefit the whole school 177 pupils, also other groups that use school out of hours, before and after school club, guides etc.

“This donation will help all concerned to have access to the outside grounds and is fully inclusive. Our existing trim trail is over 20 years old and part of it is constantly out of order and therefore this will enable us to allow access to fun, outdoor activities for all. We are very lucky to have such supportive businesses in our community.”
