PERi-PERi Saka is finally back. The sauce fans first went wild for in 2024 hit the Nando’s Sauce Station earlier this month, in the UK and Ireland. And now it’s coming home. The iconic bottle lands on shelves in ASDA and Tesco, this week.
Inspired by the Starboy’s favourite flavours, PERi-PERi Saka quickly built a cult following across the globe when it initially launched. Fans were booking flights to try it, even placing bids for bottles on eBay.
Following daily demands from fans that it needed to come back, Nando’s and Saka teamed up once more to deliver the goods. Now Saka’s scaled up the operation so it can be stocked in retailers for the first time ever.
The sauce combines Saka’s love of smoky BBQ and tomato with Nando’s distinctive PERi-PERi. It’s sweet and fiery with a little (free) kick, made with tomato, garlic and smoked paprika. Scoring a Medium on Nando’s famous PERi-ometer, it’s a definite crowd-pleaser.
Just like the full range of PERi-PERi sauces, it’s bottomless in all their restaurants. With this much drip, Nando’s has cracked the top 3 for table sauce suppliers in UK*. PERi-PERi Saka is Nando’s first ever collaboration to launch in retailers, finally making it possible to try in all your favourite recipes at home.
PERi-PERi Saka is available in UK ASDA and Tesco stores from this week, RRP £4.50. The sauce will launch in Sainsbury’s, Co-Op, Ocado, Morrison’s and Nisa in the coming weeks too.
