Packaging solutions specialist, Parkside Packaging has developed a unique compostable vacuum skin pack (VSP) laminate for The Curiosities Company’s range of cured bacon – the first prepacked bacon available in the UK suitable for home and industrial compostable packaging. Comprising a duplex laminate manufactured from cellulose and bio-polymers, the pack extends the shelf life of the bacon thanks to its hermetic seal and high oxygen barrier design.
