In January, the entire Perfetti van Melle UK team went back to school as part of a company-wide activity to give back to the local area.

The Windsor HQ closed for the day as brand managers, senior stakeholders, HR representatives and more, joined forces to give local schools St Cuthbert’s, St Peter’s and Queen Anne’s a revamp.

The team at St. Cuthbert’s spruced up fences, removed overgrown shrubs and cleared the school grounds to make more space for the children to play. At St. Peter’s the focus was a full refresh and paint of the well-used school corridors, while St. Anne’s garden was tidied and cleared of weeds and debris.

Claire Cox, Marketing Manager at Perfetti van Melle, said: “As one of the UK’s leading confectionery manufacturers, we’re committed to giving back where we can.

This experience was not only beneficial to the schools we visited but to our company as a whole – we saw fantastic teamwork as everyone mucked in together and left feeling hugely rewarded.”
