Pricecheck has been officially certified as a Great Place to Work® for the third consecutive year highlighting its ongoing investment in people, culture and development.
The certification is awarded based on anonymous employee feedback and recognises organisations that create consistently positive workplace experiences.
The achievement comes during a period of significant growth for the Sheffield-based business. Having surpassed £200m turnover and recorded 12 consecutive years of double-digit growth, Pricecheck has transformed from a specialist wholesaler into an international brand distribution partner working with customers and suppliers across more than 100 countries.
While the scale of the business has changed dramatically, its senior team believe maintaining a strong culture has been equally important.
Debbie Harrison OBE, Joint Managing Director, said: “Growth is often measured in revenue, new customers or market share, but for us, growth only matters if we continue to be a place where people want to build their careers.
“Achieving Great Place to Work certification for a third year running tells us we’re moving in the right direction. It shows that as the business has evolved, we’ve remained focused on creating opportunities for our people, investing in development and making sure colleagues feel they have a voice.
“We’re proud of what we’ve achieved together, but we’re even more excited about what’s still to come.”
Pricecheck first achieved certification in 2024 and has continued to use employee feedback to shape improvements across the organisation. Over the last three years, the business has introduced changes to employee benefits, communication channels, learning and development opportunities and employee engagement initiatives. These improvements have been driven directly by colleague feedback and insights gathered through the Great Place to Work process.
Lucy Goddard, People Director, commented: “What makes this recognition so valuable is that it isn’t determined by a panel of judges. It comes directly from the people who experience Pricecheck every day.
“Three consecutive certifications show the impact of consistently listening, learning and taking action. The feedback we receive helps shape our priorities and ensures we continue building an environment where people feel supported, challenged and able to succeed. We know there is always more to do, but that’s exactly what motivates us.”
As Pricecheck looks ahead to its next phase of growth, company leaders say maintaining a great workplace will remain fundamental to its long-term success.
Debbie Harrison added: “Our ambition is not simply to grow the business. It’s to grow opportunities for our people. Creating a workplace where colleagues can develop, contribute and enjoy being part of the journey is central to everything we do.”
