New 6-pack home delivery boxes rolling out to wholesalers & independents now
Pukka is providing wholesale and independent businesses with a new home delivery pack to continue bringing the nation’s favourite hot pie brand[1] to people’s plates.
Containing six pies, the new packs fit neatly into a home fridge or freezer and can be ordered in single flavour packs across three of Pukka’s most popular varieties – All Steak, Chicken & Mushroom and Minced Beef & Onion.
“Our new packs are designed to provide an alternative revenue stream for wholesalers and independents at this critical time and help them to keep trading by delivering direct to consumers at home,” explains Pukka’s General Manager, Isaac Fisher. “We have seen a number of businesses start to diversify their model by offering direct to consumer services in the current situation so we have adapted quickly to offer a solution with this six box offer, so that wholesalers and independent retailers can continue delivering pies to the people of Britain.”
“Working closely with our suppliers has never been more important,” says Pukka customer Terry Larkin, Group General Manager at JJ Foodservice, one of the first businesses to trial the new format. “Pukka’s home delivery pack is proving a hit with people looking for a quick and simple meal they can tuck into at home. We are taking on new customers every day and expect demand for these pies to increase as a result.”
To help businesses spread the word about their new services, Pukka is offering customers free marketing support including window posters, website banners and social media advertising.
Fisher concludes: “We’re thrilled to be helping businesses like JJ Foodservice, to meet the increased demand for direct to consumer services, and we’ll continue to work together to help feed the nation.”
Launching in a case of 6 x 230g frozen baked pies, Pukka’s home delivery pack is available to order now via 0116 264 4000 for £7.49. Flavours include All Steak, Chicken & Mushroom and Minced Beef & Onion.
