Leading tobacco accessories supplier Republic Technologies (UK) Ltd has strengthened its cash and carry/wholesale team with the appointment of National Account Executive, Jeff Cobley.
Jeff will work with all the UK’s major cash and carry groups, underlining Republic Technologies’ commitment to strengthening its presence in what it describes as a ‘key sector’.
“Jeff’s appointment is in line with our broader strategy of providing expert focus and insight in what we regard as priority channels for our business,” says Gavin Anderson, Republic Technologies (UK) Ltd’s General Sales Manager.
“As many factory made cigarette smokers continue to opt for alternatives, we want to ensure our cash and carry/wholesale partners have the specialist advice they need to enable their customers to meet changes in consumer demand.”
The appointments follows a highly successful NPD move by Republic Technologies earlier this year which saw the introduction of six new SKUs from the UK’s No.1 filters brand Swan*, including three menthol filters, two of which were crushball.
The UK’s convenience tobacco accessories market is currently worth over £228m*, growing at more than 3 per cent year-on-year*.
