Tobacco accessories specialist Republic Technologies (UK) Limited has introduced a countertop display unit, enabling retailers to increase visibility of the market-leading range of Swan menthol filters.
The card units, which hold five packets of each Swan menthol variant, are being made available to convenience stores on a limited basis initially.
“We know many people who used to smoke menthol cigarettes are considering menthol filters and the eye-catching Swan units enable retailers to showcase the breadth and choice offered by the UK’s No.1 brand,” says Gavin Anderson, General Sales Manager at Republic Technologies (UK) Ltd.
The Swan menthol filters range includes three SKUs launched earlier this year as part of Republic Technologies’ biggest ever NPD programme. The move saw Cool Menthol Extra Slim, Cool Burst Crushball and Fresh Burst Crushball join the existing Swan menthol product, Menthol Extra Slim.
The UK’s £288.3 million* tobacco accessories market continues to perform strongly, up 2.3% in value year-on-year, with filters up 5.4%*.
