Leading tobacco accessories supplier, Republic Technologies UK, is expanding its portfolio, with the launch of ZIG, a new entry to the UK’s £198.2m Nicotine Pouches market[1].

Named with an affiliation to Republic’s established Zig-Zag brand, ZIG will be available from August. The range includes 8mg, 12mg and 17mg strengths across six flavours, RRP £4.50 – Berry Cool, Citrus, Ice Mint, Peppermint, Power Mint and Tropical, all developed to align with key consumer flavour preferences identified through brand research.

Flavoured nicotine pouches dominate the UK market, accounting for approximately 94.04% of revenue in 2024[2]. Research also shows that mint is the leading flavour choice, followed by fruit and citrus[3], flavours which are contained within the ZIG range to generate maximum sales.
