Leading ambient food distributor RH Amar has extended its foodservice remit with McCormick to include hot sauce brand, Cholula.  

Cholula (pronounced Choe-lu-la) is a fiery Mexican hot sauce, made by blending native peppers with regional spices. It is the second largest hot sauce brand in the US and made in Mexico from a family recipe that has been passed down for generations. It is named after the oldest inhabited city in Mexico and features a distinctive wooden cap – bringing a little bit of Mexican tradition and taste to meals.

Justin Burbage, Commercial Director, RH Amar said: ‘We’re excited to be adding Cholula to our portfolio of brands from McCormick. Consumers have enjoyed experimenting more with their food during the pandemic and we believe that Cholula will benefit from this continuing trend. Cholula joins other McCormick brands represented by RH Amar including; Frank’s RedHot sauce, French’s Mustard, Schwartz and Old Bay.
