Introducing revitalised branding, extended produce range and brand-new facilities in Oxford and London.
From the early days of delivering cheese in unrefrigerated vehicles, Savona are now a modern foodservice brand, on a mission to provide foodservice that just works.
What is still critical from those early days is anchoring everything they do on customers – making sure that the service and product catalogue works for the five key sectors of Care, Education, Hospitality, Leisure and Workplace.
Many months of preparation have now come to fruition, with the launch of fresh produce, plus new facilities in Oxford and London – all supported with revitalised branding.
Savona have always valued building relationships with like-minded suppliers, and the new partnerships with F H Mann in the South West and Valimex in South Central and South East are no exception. The agreement with these partners means that fresh produce will be available for next day delivery – including prepped! The range now showcases a full array of salad, fruit, vegetables and herbs.
Future proofing the expansion in range, has seen the London team moved to a brand-new depot. Located in Barking this area was chosen to enable seamless delivery across all South England from the three depots.
Not only opening the new London premises, Savona has also renovated their headquarters in Kidlington, Oxford – Now offering a state-of-the-art development kitchen to customers and suppliers. This is a fantastic addition to the Savona service as customers are welcomed to use the kitchen for developing, training for their teams, as well as sampling new products from the extensive products offered by Savona. Already hosting key customers and well known chef, Thom Bateman!
Savona wanted to make sure their branding kept up with the product and service enhancements, so concurrently launched their new website at ‘Savona.co.uk’ – a digital shop window customers and prospects reach first before going on to the ecommerce site. This is the central showcase for Savona’s uncompromising standards, while also offering a personal service to all customers.
These recent developments are exciting milestones in Savona’s growth, as they strive to continually add value for their customers, not just a food wholesaler. The company are on a mission to continue to be foodservice that just works – working in partnership with customers to ensure their businesses are successful.
