Sugro UK, the member-owned buying and marketing group comprising of over 95 independent wholesalers, announced the expansion of its membership with the addition of SoSweet Online Ltd as a new member to the group.
SoSweet is a speciality sweet business based in the Southwest of England with retail, wholesale, and online platforms. They currently operate 14 SoSweet Stores within the region, aiming to grow to 20 stores by 2025. They are ranked within the Top 10 Food Sellers within Tik Tok which has helped escalate their presence and growth over the last 10 months.
Development and plans are also in place to drive their Wholesale business including direct to store deliveries.
SoSweet Director George Robinson said: “We are delighted to have joined Sugro. SoSweet is a speciality sweet business. We operate 14 of our stores across Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, and Somerset with a clear growth plan to reach 20 stores by 2025. SoSweet also has a very strong online presence across our own website as well as marketplaces like TikTok Shop; we consistently dominate the Sweets and Snacks category on the platform with our range of ‘viral’ SKUs. We have also just launched our new delivered wholesale model with our ‘SoSweet Direct’ service where our team of BDMs/Reps will deliver a direct-to-store service across the convenience and speciality channels within the Southwest. As a high-volume retail and wholesale business, we rely on strong direct relationships with suppliers to increase our variety and availability across our range. Our strong physical presence across the Southwest also presents many opportunities for brand partnerships and activations.
