Andover-based SSI Schaefer has appointed Mark Winter to the position of Digital Marketing Executive to bolster its presence in the increasingly important area of digital media and e-commerce.
On a day-to-day basis, Mark will be managing the many avenues of social media now available including Facebook, Twitter, blogs, Linkedin and YouTube and will be planning SSI Schaefer’s e-commerce strategy from January 2014 onwards. His main responsibility will be to raise the profile of SSI Schaefer across all digital media, which is now evolving at such an incredible rate that it needs constant attention to remain at the forefront of the industry.
Mark has built up extensive knowledge of digital marketing over the last 15 years, his last role being that of E-Marketing Executive for a leading utilities supplier managing the company’s e-commerce offering. Through his expertise, Mark increased the sales turnover of his last company’s website by 50% to over £1m in under two years.
