Sugro UK is pleased to announce and welcome Raj Krishan in a newly created senior role of the Head of Business Development. Sugro is the leading buying and marketing group for independent wholesalers in the UK and Raj’s appointment is a confident step in future investment and a step forward to align and deliver Sugro’s business strategy. Well-known and respected within the wholesale/convenience industry, Raj brings vast wealth of experience. As a Head of Business Development, Raj will be responsible for developing and delivering Sugro’s strategic initiatives for sales and business improvements, including developing current and future member relationships.

He joins the Sugro team from AF Blakemore where he served as Wholesale Distribution Sales Director. During his successful tenure at Blakemore, he played a significant role in transforming the Wholesale Distribution division and successfully led the division, enrolled new customers and developed existing accounts leading to a significant revenue and profit increases. Prior to joining Blakemore, he held several senior posts at Landmark, Todays and Nisa.
