Sugro UK, the member-owned buying and marketing group comprising of over 90 independent wholesalers, has strengthened their existing membership with its latest recruitment, Nasco. The addition of Nasco to the Group’s membership has increased its existing combined buying power to £1.8bn.

Nasco has been trading for over 20 years as the UK’s leading wholesale distributor. The London-based wholesaler with extensive experience in trading FMCG’s, aims to provide the highest quality products to its customers at the most competitive prices. Their expertise has seen them awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise five times; the latest one received in 2022.

The company supplies a range of popular grocery, confectionery, soft drinks, and toiletry products. Nasco provides its services to a wide customer base within the wholesale and retail sector including independent retailers, across the UK.

Nasco’s passion for delivering top-quality products is evident in their own brand lines: London Biscuits, Casa De Campo and Great Grey, which include delicious biscuits, beverages, convenient groceries such as tinned foods, coffee, a range of cooking oils and more.

With an internal fleet of vehicles, Nasco caters to significant clients throughout the entire M25 region, and they also deliver nationwide via their third-party hauliers.

Sugro UK has had 17 years of consecutive growth and continues with its strong performance in 2023, with year-to-date growth of 31%. The latest recruitment will enable further diversification and will enhance the group’s offering to independent retailers.
