British sweet manufacturer Swizzels has expanded its Originals range with price marked hanging bags of Love Hearts and Parma Violets.
The £1 PMPs are now available for the wholesale channel.
Each Originals variant comes in a 142g hanging bag and they are both suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
Mark Walker, sales director at Swizzels, said:
‘‘Our Originals range is experiencing huge growth, up +57%*, and PMPs are in +8% growth**, so we are confident these new, value-for-money Love Hearts and Parma Violets bags will be hugely popular.’’
Swizzels will be supporting sales of Parma Violets with its latest consumer campaign. In the run up to National Parma Violets Day on 26th June, Swizzels is inviting the public to share their own recipes incorporating the popular sweets for a chance to appear in the first Parma Violets recipe book which will be released online in time for National Parma Violets Day.
Swizzels is one of the largest independent British-owned sweet manufacturers and is still run by members of the families who founded the business back in 1928. The company makes a range of well-known sweets including Love Hearts, Squashies, Refreshers, Drumstick Lollies, Rainbow Drops, Double Lollies and Fruity Pops.
