The Green Wholesaler Award 2018 was our best yet! With record entrants, judge Dave Hilton was extremely impressed to see Confex members’ green credentials and environmentally sustainable business practises being at the forefront of their day-to-day running. Confex was pleased to observe how our members now note the strong link between environmental issues and best business practices.
From installing docking hook ups for the refrigerated vehicles so they don’t need to be kept running, to condensing deliveries, to installing solar panels, installing photovoltaic solar panels, rainwater harvesting and applying for Government grants to install energy efficient lighting, it is clear Confex members are once again ‘ahead of the curve’ in driving their businesses forward it this everchanging world.
