essentially-lite.jpgHealth-conscious chocoholics can now indulge in quality Belgian chocolate – but with no added sugar – following the launch of the Sugar Lessss brand by UK-based Essentially Lite Ltd. The product has been developed in Yorkshire under the direction of Brian Siron, a pioneer of the UK’s first sugar-free products nearly 35 years ago. It is already available from independent health food stores, but is now poised to break into the supermarkets after the Cleckheaton factory achieved a BRC ‘A’ grade accreditation.

The Sugar Lessss brand features a range of eye-catching chocolate bars flow-wrapped in printed film supplied by Bradford-based packaging specialists National Flexible. They came up with a series of designs based on a common theme which kept origination costs to a minimum. The artwork was handled from concept to print by National Flexible’s resident graphic designer, Phil Parkinson.

Essentially Lite’s Rob Whittleston was delighted: “National Flexible not only helped keep our packaging costs down, they’ve also reduced our lead times. Everything’s supermarket-friendly now and that’s where we’re aiming to go.” said Rob.

“We are the only brand of authentic Belgian chocolate with no added sugar,” he continued.

The launch of Sugar Lessss means that health-conscious consumers can indulge their taste for Belgian chocolate, enjoying top quality flavour with minimum sugar content. For information on these or any other Essentially Lite products please call 01274 651144.
