Marcus-Armitage

Tree of Life recently confirmed its position as the number one natural, organic and health wholesale distributor in the UK, after announcing record sales of over £45m to its year end on 31 March 2015. The company decided to sponsor a EuroPro Tour event in an effort to align itself with brands of a similar mantra.

In addition to sponsoring the event, which was won by Marcus Armitage with a score of 11 under par, Tree of Life is also sponsoring the overall award for the PGA EuroPro Tour, the Tree of Life Go Lowest Award, which will be given to the player with the lowest recorded round across all 15 events.

John Weaver, Managing Director of Tree of Life, commented: “Tree of Life is all about healthy eating and healthy living and it’s therefore important that we represent this with the companies and brands that we work with. Golf has become increasingly focused on a healthy lifestyle and professionals sustain a strict nutrition and exercise programme.”

The PGA EuroPro Tour is made up of 15 events and is for young up and coming players to give them exposure and experience of competing in national and international, spectator events. The PGA EuroPro Tour has played a pivotal part in the early careers of some of the biggest names in golf. Major winners Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel and Ryder Cup stars Nicolas Colsaerts and Ross Fisher are just four of a long list of players who have progressed from the EuroPro to win titles on the European Tour.
