British dairy brand Ubley is expanding its yogurt range for education, healthcare and care catering with new single-serve products, created around the nutritional needs and practical requirements of professional caterers.
Available now, the new products combine Ubley’s refreshed Naturally Delightful positioning with convenient formats, multiple flavours and tailored nutritional benefits, helping schools, hospitals and care homes serve appealing, affordable yogurt options across a range of menus.
For education, Ubley is introducing 80g low-fat yogurt pots, supplied in cases of 12 and available in four flavours: strawberry, raspberry, vanilla and banana. Developed in response to feedback from education buyers, the pots provide a source of protein, calcium and vitamin D, and are made with real fruit. They also offer a longer shelf life, helping caterers manage stock and reduce waste.
Sally Rose Haines, a Registered Nutritionist, specialising in children’s nutrition, said: “Made with British milk and natural ingredients, Ubley’s 80g Low Fat Smooth Fruited Yogurt range is an appealing and convenient way for children to enjoy yogurt while providing important nutrients as part of a balanced diet.”
For healthcare and care settings, the new 100g Thick & Creamy whole milk yogurt pots are available in strawberry, raspberry, vanilla and peach. Supplied in cases of 12, the products provide a source of protein, calcium and vitamin D, with the range developed in response to feedback from NHS trusts and care-home buyers. Their individual portions offer a convenient option for patient and resident menus, snacks and desserts.
Phil Shelley National Lead for Food, NHS England, said: “As we continue to focus on improving the food and drink offer across the NHS, it is encouraging to see suppliers developing products that combine great taste with strong nutritional credentials. The Ubley range provides a source of key nutrients, including protein and calcium, and can help support a balanced diet across a variety of care settings. Expanding access to nutritious, high-quality dairy products gives catering teams greater choice and flexibility when meeting the diverse nutritional needs of those we serve, while helping to enhance the overall food experience within health and care environments.”
The new single-serve products complement Ubley’s wider foodservice range, which includes 10% Fat Greek Yogurt 5kg Chef’s Pot, Low Fat Natural Yogurt 5kg Chef’s Pot, and Low Fat Strawberry and Peach 5kg Chefs Pots. Single serve 115g and 150g Low Fat Natural Yogurt Pots are also available.
Hannah Flannery-Cahill, Marketing Manager at Ubley, said: “We know that education, healthcare and care caterers have different requirements, from portion sizes and nutritional credentials to shelf life, versatility and value.
“Our new single-serve pots have been developed in direct response to feedback from buyers in these sectors. With four flavours in each range, convenient individual portions and nutritional benefits, they give caterers more choice when planning appetising, nourishing menus for pupils, patients and residents.
“Alongside our Chef’s Pots and wider foodservice range, the new products strengthen Ubley’s offer for customers looking for practical, cost-effective yogurt options without compromising on taste or quality.”
